Hey Y’all,
Key West is a major spring break destination and it did not disappoint! Thinking back on Spring Semester a year ago, it seems like it was all just a blur of events. I blinked and it was Spring Break. I blinked again and it was finals. It all went by so fast I can hardly remember anything that happened! Luckily, pictures bring back a lot of memories. For Spring Break, Kevin and I took trip to Key West and it was incredible. We stayed with a friend of his who lives there, so we were able to get the full tour of Key West…both on land and on water!
We had a fantastic Spring Break! Kevin and I saw beautiful sunsets over the water, and we had great food! We went to Better Than Sex which is a dessert restaurant and it was incredible. Hands down the best dessert I’ve ever had! We loved walking along Duval St. and going into all the boutiques and quaint shops. Kevin and I also got to spend a day on a boat so that was a blast!
We also ate a fantastic lunch at the Waterfront Brewery. Kevin and I celebrated surviving our first vacation together by ending our last night in Key West at Vinos Wine Bar. We decided to splurge so Kevin had a glass of the Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label and I had a glass of the Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé. It was the perfect ending to the perfect vacation! The Wine Bar had outdoor seating, soft French music playing in the background, and a mesmerizing cork ceiling! Those were just some of our favorites if you are planning a trip down to Key West! Key West is now a go-to destination for Spring Breakers so if you are planning on taking your family, keep in mind that March may not be the best time to go!
