About Jenna
In September of 2017 I officially launched Future Southern Belle. I was in my Junior year of college and aimlessly scrolling through Tumblr to give me inspiration on how to live my life. Being from New England means that I have a passion for all things nautical, and preppy which is an aspect that I still love to this day. However, I still felt that my heart belonged in the South. The Southern lifestyle is something that I am truly drawn to and in awe of, which is why I named my blog Future Southern Belle because one day, I hope to achieve the Southern Belle status.
My Hobbies
As for me personally, I enjoy traveling, finding things that inspire me, adventures with Kevin, and trying new recipes. I am always on the hunt for good food and good times. My favorite place to be is home cuddled up on the couch with my amazing husband, Kevin. I enjoy being able to hang out with friends and having girls nights with lots of wine!
My Inspiration
My inspiration stems from my every day life. I have worked very hard to cultivate a life full of kindness, laughter, and love. I believe that everything really does happen for a reason and that we only have a finite time here on Earth so we must make the best of it.
My inspiration also changes from season to season, and with it, my blog. I absolutely love every single season and love being able to discover who I become when the seasons change. During the Winter, I enjoy being able to snowmobile and get cozy next to the fire with hot chocolate. During the Spring I love strolling along the streets filled with colorful flowers. I love the pastel colors that come with Spring!
My Summers are filled with boating trips, tropical destinations, and lots of fun in the sun. I love all the fresh fruit and veggies and being able to eat Caprese salads every day if I want to. I’m a happier person in the sun! I also love getting to wear Lilly Pulitzer every day. I love being able to go to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard and experience a true New England Summer (they’re the best)! Fall is my favorite seasons because of the warm sunny days and crisp cool nights that are perfect for sleeping. I love seeing the leaves change color and getting to live in flannel dresses and getting to go apple picking. I love the fashion powerhouse I turn into during the Fall. My wardrobe is filled with skirts, dresses, and high heels. I love every single season because they each mean something completely different to me.
A few of my favorite things…
I am a lover of all desserts, and a good glass of wine. I enjoy reading, and watching funny movies. My fashion inspiration is a culmination of all things preppy and Lilly Pulitzer. Anyone who knows me can verify that I live in dresses. Colors make me extremely happy and there isn’t a color I don’t love. They all mean something different to me. I love finding quotes that speak to me. My favorite treat is ice cream and I will never not eat pancakes. My favorite dinner is steak and my favorite wine is whatever is in front of me. As far as music goes, my favorite varies on my mood. I can listen to EDM, country, indy, and pop.
