Sarasota Sunsets

March 16, 2019

Hey Y’all,

The FSB lifestyle is all about finding the beauty in things. Kevin taught me to stay a little longer outside once the sun starts to set. When you do, you get to see the most beautiful aspect that nature has to offer, and that is a sunset.

If you have ever been to the West Coast of Florida, you understand very well how stunning the sunsets are. Being from Maine, I see some very beautiful sunsets, but when you see a sunset over the horizon on the beach, well there’s nothing that compares to that. Kevin and I LOVE the West Coast of Florida. We love the Sarasota area in particular and we traveled there several times during the school year. We would go fishing, spend time at his parent’s condo, and of course enjoy the breathtaking sunsets. Below are some of my favorite sunsets that we were able to capture.

Sarasota is an incredible city to visit in Florida. There will be a blog post later about places to go and visit while vacationing in Sarasota! One of my recommendations is going to Siesta Key because it’s breathtaking! Gorgeous emerald waters, with white sandy beaches! If you are looking for a more secluded spot, I recommend heading a little further south to Venice Beach. Still beautiful beaches but a much larger fishing community. There are plenty of places to walk or bike and the have good selection of restaurants. Many of the restaurants overlook the water which is an added bonus!

As you can see, Florida sunsets are one of our favorites! We are going to be planning a trip soon to the West Coast of the United States so let us know if you have any suggestions. Especially suggestions for sunset watching places, we would love to hear about them!

XoXi,
